EP	Educational Psychologist	Specialist supporting learning, behaviour and development
ICB	Integrated Care Board	NHS body responsible for planning and commissioning health services locally
LA	Local Authority	Brighton & Hove City Council in this context
OAIP	Ordinarily Available Inclusive Practice	BHCC Co-produced guidance for all statutory age school settings on what should be ‘ordinarily available’ to support children with SEND. Aligns with DfE’s Universal Offer
NHS	National Health Service	UK publicly funded healthcare system
OT	Occupational Therapist	Specialist supporting functional skills and independence
SaLT	Speech and Language Therapy / Therapist	Specialist supporting communication and language needs
SEND	Special Educational Needs and Disabilities	Children and young people requiring additional support to learn and thrive
SRO	Senior Responsible Officer	Named senior leader accountable for delivery of the reform plan
DSG	Dedicated Schools Grant	Government funding to local authorities for education, including high needs
NEET	Not in Education, Employment or Training	Measure of young people not engaged in education, work or training
MAT	Multi‑Academy Trust	Group of schools operating under a single governance structure
PCF	Parent Carer Forum	Representative group of parents/carers involved in co‑production (e.g. PaCC/Amaze locally)
TAFG	Task & Finish Group	Representative of a wide range of stakeholders who worked on co-producing the relevant core minimum requirement returns for the Reform Plan
